Ink Technician
Ink Technician $8.00-$9.00 per hour DOE. Day Shift 6am - 3:30 pm.
Read and Interpret Orders to Include:
Ensuring the correct amount of ink is made by use of scale to cover the quantity called for on the Sales Order for product being produced.
Correct Ink Series is made per the Sales Order.
Correct color is being made following formula provided with ink mixing system per customer sales order.
Use report to mix ink ahead of time for future orders to prevent operator down time.
Use scale to portion out additives for ink when needed (Thinner or hardener)
Bring mixed ink to the designated areas in department or on press.
Perform strike offs on sample pieces before start of orders to ensure no adjustments need to be made to formula based on product/color being produced.
Record data as needed when adjustments are made to ink formulas and update ink formulas as needed.
Keep inventory of inks and supplies needed for ink station and communicate with Purchasing Manager accordingly.
Any candidate will be able to distinguish colors.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
