JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Safety Specialist

WORK LOCATION: Gaffney, SC 29340

TYPE OF WORK/DURATION: Contract - 1 year plus


RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:

Research accident hazards and health risks and prescribe the necessary preventive or corrective measures and safety equipment.
Educate personnel in identifying and eliminating existing hazards and help develop safety culture. Ensure BEST practices are adhered to as they relate to company policy.
Coordinate plant safety and health audits; analyze plant statistical data including workers compensation information related to occupational injuries and illnesses.
Maintain requirements for safety training and coordinate with plant training personnel.
Administer all policies, programs and procedures related to Safety Engineering and Industrial Hygiene.
Perform job safety analysis. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws dealing with accident and health hazards. Interface with government officials to resolve violations.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a safety related discipline with five (5) years of experience, or an associate's degree with seven (7) years safety related experience or ten (10) years in safety related experience required.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
