In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks.
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in all weather conditions.
Duties:
- Performs semi-skilled masonry work associated with the construction, maintenance, and repair of City roads, sidewalks, curbs, catch basins, drainage systems, other structures and related projects for the City as assigned.
- Performs other tasks in support as assigned:
cuts pavement; installs, clears and repairs ditches; clears drainage obstructions from pipes, culverts, ditches, catch basins, and gutters; lays and smooths asphalt; repairs asphalt and concrete; patches and repairs potholes in road surfaces; and other similar construction tasks as required.
- Assist with construction estimating as needed Requirements:
- Some vocational or technical training in masonry - High school diploma or GED - Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License Note:
